I do no have a child with autism. I do believe and understand autism so well after reading this book. It is clear to me and it gives me comfort to know I can share this with others. Well done, Dr Purser!!
A must read if you have a child with Autism or ASD! Gives you tests that you need to have, supplementation recommendations, and a daily protocol to follow. Read this book, purchase a copy for your physcian, and discuss all your options with your medical provider.
A lot of good information- I appreciate the updated info regarding research on causes, treatments, etc. I had some difficulty tracking/understanding the first several chapters, as there is a plethora of medical terminology that is likely easier for those in the medical field to understand than someone like myself. I found myself focusing most on the last several chapters for any new information to use when naturally treating my son who is on the spectrum, as my focus is not so much on understanding why it happened, but rather, what I can do to help now. Thank you for the opportunity to read the book in exchange for my honest review.
This book was so very informative. I know more now than I did before reading this book. This will be valuable to anyone that wants and needs to learn more about Autism. It is an easy read. I recommend this to anyone who want to learn more and gain information on natural therapies for Autism. I myself do not have a child with Autism but learned many new ideas of therapies in dealing with it.
I love Dr Purser and have read several of his books and look forward to reading his material. This books is packed full of information and could be very helpful those seeking answer to Some natural remedies for Autism. I would rate a five, but I had a little trouble at times understanding some of the content since I am not familiar with some of the medical terms used at times. Glad I had the opportunity to read the book.
DR.DAN PURSER AND HIS BOOKS ARE THE BEGINNING OF OUR NEXT CHAPTER IN AN EDUCATION ON EACH OF HIS BOOK'S SUBJECTS. HIS BOOKS ARE LIKE READING A MICHAEL CRICHTON NOVEL.. YOU HAVE TO LEARN MORE TO UNDERSTAND HOW THE STORY WORKS. HE'LL LEADS YOU TO THINK OF MORE POSSIBILITIES AS YOU'RE READING, HOW OUR OWN OR FAMILY MEMBER'S CHEMISTRY WORKS. OR... WHAT INTERFERES WITH THAT PROCESS. WHEN SOME PEOPLE THINK "OUT OF THE BOX".. HIS WRITING MAY BE ABLE TO HELP YOU FIND THAT DANG' ELUSIVE BOX.
P.S. DR. DAN IS A WONDERFUL LECTURER.. I RECOMMEND NOT MISSING HIM IN PERSON, IF HE'S IN YOUR AREA.
What I have to say first and foremost is I loved when reading this book, how I felt you were talking right up in front of a group and I was sitting right there. There are these moments when I could feel your personality. Thank you for that. It made it more personable.
I have been so curious and I'd have to be honest that my thinking around the cause of Autism had to be solely linked to vaccines. But you have explained so much which brought great insight and a deep understanding. I've done some work with autistic children utilizing craniosacral work, but this.... is HOPE, direction and offers a protocol which parents are so desperate for. I will highly recommend this book. Thank you for your work and sharing it with the world!
